Dear Friend,
For the past 35 years, the Baltimore American Indian Center has highlighted and showcased the special history and culture of Maryland’s Indian community through its Annual Native American Festival, commonly known as the Powwow. This year’s Powwow is scheduled for July 9th through July 10th, 2011 and will feature Native American food, a dance and drum, Native American arts and crafts vendors, face painting and cultural demonstrations. The Festival attracts thousands of individuals from the Central Maryland region and from throughout the country. Each year the festival draws as many as 5,000 people in attendance. This year we will be returning to the Maryland State fairgrounds in Timonuim Maryland. This is an indoor event.
Our event has been hailed as one of the top festivals in Baltimore City and the region.
As you prepare your 2011 annual budgets, we hope you will consider sponsorship opportunities afforded by the Baltimore American Indian Center. We firmly believe that your financial support of this event will result in a significant return on your investment.
Please find it in your hearts to support this wonderful event. Our center needs your support though out the year. As we continue to stuggle to keep our culture alive. With your help we can make this event one of the best.
If you have any questions or are interested in any of these sponsorship opportunities, please do not hesitate to contact me at 410.675.3535 or by e-mail at jovina@live.com.
We look forward to hearing from you soon.
Sincerely,
